After nearly a year away from the spotlight to grieve and reflect, Lonnie returned to songwriting — not as an escape, but as a path to healing. DORO released her new album, Warriors of the Sea, on October 24, 2025, via Rare Diamonds Production, distributed by Edel.
The project was inspired by the success of two sold-out Metal Queen Cruises in May and June, with a third cruise already scheduled for June 6, 2026. Fan excitement from these events sparked demand for new music, leading to this release.
The title track, “Warriors of the Sea”, has quickly become a live favorite, serving as both the cruise’s anthem and a festival highlight. The album features ten tracks in total: Side A offers four rare studio recordings, while Side B captures five live performances from DORO’s 2024/25 sold-out tour.
In keeping with the theme cruise, the album will be offered as liquid-filled vinyl filled with Blue Curaçao. Initially, it was going to be filled with Rhine Water, but liquor is quicker in getting the point across, and it tastes better, too. It’s also available as a CD digipak and picture disc vinyl.

Rick Hughes : Redemption
Canadian-born Rick Hughes is renowned for his powerful and rangey voice as the lead singer of the legendary metal band Sword, and of the hard-rock band Saints & Sinners. A seasoned performer with hundreds of headlining shows in Canada, America, Europe and Japan over the years, and his superb stage performances while opening for bands such as Metallica, Motorhead, Alice Cooper, Black Label Society, etc.
So when it was time for him to record ‘’Redemption’’, his first international solo album, he spared no expenses and efforts to make this album a great one, hiring producer John Webster (Aerosmith, Mötley Crüe, AC/DC, etc.) and renting HippoSonic Recording Studio (formerly known as Little Mountain Studios) in Vancouver to record this opus.
The first salvo is coming out September 5, 2025, and it is quite an event in itself: his first single and video is a supercharged version of The Who’s classic ‘’The Real Me’’ - reuniting after 43 years Ozzy Osbourne’s superband consisting of Brad Gillis on guitar, Rudy Sarzo on bass, and Tommy Aldridge on drums. This is the band that did the last leg of the ‘’Diary of a Madman Tour’’ in 1982 after the tragic departure of the great Randy Rhoads, and that then recorded Ozzy’s classic live album ‘’Speak of the Devil’’.
The Real Me stands as a cornerstone of my album 'Redemption'," says Rick. "As a lifelong fan of The Who, I wanted to pay tribute to the golden age of 70s rock. To capture that spirit, I brought together a true supergroup with Tommy Aldridge, Rudy Sarzo and Brad Gillis, a unique moment where legends unite to breathe new life into a classic.''

Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal is a celebrated guitarist, vocalist, composer, producer, and educator with a career spanning over 30 years. Known for his groundbreaking techniques, his innovative guitar style includes fretless guitar, and 'thimble technique' (playing with a metal cap on his finger to extend the range of notes)
Lead guitarist of progressive metal group Whom Gods Destroy (with Derek Sherinian, Dino Jelusick, Yas Nomura and Bruno Valverde), Bumblefoot's band credits include lead singer and guitarist of the legendary progressive rock band Asia (2019, with Geoff Downes, Carl Palmer, Steve Howe and Billy Sherwood), guitarist of progressive rock band Sons Of Apollo (2017 - 2022, with Mike Portnoy, Derek Sherinian, Billy Sheehan and Jeff Scott Soto) and rock group Art Of Anarchy (2011 - 2024, formerly including STP/Velvet Revolver vocalist Scott Weiland, Creed vocalist Scott Stapp and Disturbed bassist John Moyer). As lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses (2006 - 2014), Bumblefoot toured sold-out shows all over the world, headlining festivals with crowds up to 150,000. Bumblefoot's unique 'fretless guitar' can be heard throughout Guns N' Roses' 2008 Chinese Democracy album.
Bumblefoot is also an accomplished composer whose music is often heard in TV, film and video games, including the theme song to VH1's "That Metal Show". Bumblefoot is an Adjunct Professor at SUNY Purchase College teaching music production, runs international "Bumblefoot Music Camps", works with U.S. Embassies around the world on cross-cultural music programs, has his own line of award-winning hot sauces, and works with dozens of international charities visiting orphanages and children's hospitals around the world with guitar in hand.

“Closer to My Home” is the long-awaited, new album from legendary guitarist and singer/songwriter Mark Farner. Bridging past and present, the grit of industry and the calloused hard work of a rural man, “Closer to My Home” champions Farner’s multi-faceted artistry. Celebrating the 55th anniversary of the iconic hit “(I’m Your Captain) Closer To My Home” the album is highlighted with a re-record, finding Farner in exactly the same form as 1970.
From the rebellious “Anymore” to the endearing “Darlin” and to the defiant “Same Game” Farner’s journey as one of rock’s statesmen is undeniable. “Façade”, “Friends For Forever”, “Real”, “Tiny Fingers” Farner’s journey has always called him towards love and light. He collaborated with Jim Peterik (The Ides of March, Survivor) on the CD-exclusive “Friends Forever”*. Maltese born-Swiss musician Marc Storace started his exceptional musical career in 1970, with the Swiss cult progressive band "TEA". TEA released 5 LP's, becoming a very successful band and Marc gained attention for his abilities and his high-pitched raunchy vocal tone. In 1979 Marc became the voice KROKUS, the most successful Hard Rock Band from Switzerland, selling over 15 million copies, touring the world collecting over 2000 shows, winning several Gold and Platinum awards!
At the beginning of 2021 Marc started working on his solo career as STORACE, releasing the first solo CD "Live and Let Live" at the end of 2021, in the middle of the very difficult pandemic situation, but due unfortunately were not possible to properly promote the music live and the album didn’t have the chance to be properly supported. Marc spent 2023 and 2024 to write and produce the new album “Crossfire” that is finally ready. With the songwriting shared between Marc Storace, guitar player Tommy Henriksen (Alice Cooper band) and drummer Pat Aeby (Krokus, Gotus), Storace managed to deliver a monster piece of Hard Rock.
“Crossfire”, produced by Tommy Henriksen and mixed by the award-winning engineer Olle Romo, features a collection of Hard Rock anthemic songs, with big choruses, great guitars and an awesome rhythm section!
Currently the band is planning an extended tour in support of the new album, following the release of the new album.
